Beaucaire, on the west side of the Rhône, is much more of a tourist town than its sister across the river.
This is the Canal du Midi again, about as far east as it goes. At Beaucaire it joins up with the Rhône.
I walked over to Beaucaire to have supper and watch La Finale (final game of the World Cup: Frant's vs Italy)
