July 11 At Chateauneuf-du-Rhône, 10km south of Montelimar, a group of young folks saw a Canadian veloist puffing and sweating up the hill and invited him to their house for a cool drink. Iced tea, with ice (about an hour earlier I'd dropped into a McDonald's that was OUT OF ICE!!!) They also replenished my water bottles for me, and we exchanged emails. |
